Aloft’s BBJ Max 8 VVIP upgrade signals rising demand for long range luxury in corporate aviation
Aloft has completed a BBJ Max 8 VVIP interior upgrade with auxiliary fuel tanks, attracting strong attention across the corporate aviation sector. The project reflects a growing shift in the large cabin market where extended range, refined cabin experience and mission flexibility are no longer optional but expected.

The BBJ Max 8 already offers strong range and airline-level reliability, yet the addition of auxiliary tanks pushes the aircraft into ultra long range capability. This allows greater non-stop routing flexibility, a key requirement for heads of state, corporate leaders and UHNW travellers. Fewer fuel stops and improved planning margins position the aircraft competitively against purpose-built jets such as the Global 7500, G700 and Falcon 8X.

Inside, the cabin showcases a move towards residential-style luxury. Premium materials, enhanced soundproofing, advanced connectivity and bespoke lighting create a tailored environment suited for work or rest. The focus on comfort, privacy and digital integration aligns with broader VVIP cabin trends.

The upgrade also underlines rising demand for airliner-based corporate jets as operators seek long range performance with maximum cabin space and versatility.
