Phenix Jet Adds First Bombardier Global 8000 to Cayman Managed Fleet
Phenix Jet Cayman has added its first Bombardier Global 8000 to the company’s managed fleet under its Cayman Islands air operator certificate. The ultra-long-range aircraft is the first of the type in Phenix Jet’s regional operation, while a second Global 8000 is expected to join during the first quarter of 2027.

The 2025-built jet completed induction and Cayman registration in fewer than five business days, according to information reviewed by NVOII. That compressed timeline is notable for an aircraft entering a regulated commercial-management structure and reflects coordination between the operator, registry and supporting organizations.

The addition strengthens Phenix Jet’s position in the Asia-Pacific large-cabin market, where it already operates Global 7500 aircraft. It also moves the company’s previously announced Global 8000 expansion from a future plan into an active fleet milestone, with the next delivery providing a clear near-term growth marker.
