Dassault Falcon 50 N200SG Skids Off Runway at Las Vegas Harry Reid Airport
A Dassault Falcon 50 went beyond the end of a runway during a planned takeoff at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on October 18 and struck the perimeter fence. Airport officials reported no injuries, while two runways were closed for inspection and the FAA temporarily paused incoming flights, contributing to delays.

The aircraft has been identified in aviation safety reporting as N200SG. Public accounts indicate the crew rejected the takeoff before the runway excursion, but investigators have not established why the trijet failed to stop within the paved surface. No finding has been issued attributing the event to the aircraft, crew or airport.

NVOII is tracking the investigation because the operational sequence including the rejected takeoff and runway overrun will determine the safety lessons, not the early images alone. Until authorities release verified evidence, the absence of injuries and the airport’s immediate runway inspections remain the only confirmed outcomes beyond the excursion itself.
