Machjet International Adds Second Cessna Citation CJ4 as Australian Private Charter Demand Grows
Machjet International has expanded its Australian private charter fleet with a second Cessna Citation CJ4 at Sunshine Coast Airport in Queensland. The aircraft joins the operator’s existing CJ4, increasing its modern light-jet capacity and strengthening its ability to serve domestic missions across Australia’s geographically dispersed aviation market.

The CJ4 combines light-jet operating economics with the speed, range and passenger capacity needed for longer regional missions. Adding a second example also gives Machjet greater fleet commonality and scheduling flexibility, reducing the operational impact when one aircraft is committed to another mission or unavailable for maintenance.

Another fleet addition is expected as Machjet continues expanding. The growth is particularly noteworthy to NVOII because it points to increasing private aviation investment beyond Australia’s largest traditional business centers. Building additional charter capacity from the Sunshine Coast could strengthen Queensland’s position within the country’s private aviation network while giving customers greater access to modern light-jet transportation.
