Ultra-Long-Range Business Jet Inventory Falls Nearly 30% as Pre-Owned Gulfstream, Bombardier and Falcon Market Tightens
The pre-owned ultra-long-range business jet market is tightening sharply, with available inventory falling by nearly a third year over year while resale transactions reached a second-quarter record, according to market intelligence highlighted by Jet Match. The changing market is also contributing to fewer publicly advertised asking prices for premium aircraft.

Ultra-long-range jets include some of the highest-value aircraft in business aviation, making changes in inventory particularly important to buyers, brokers and aircraft-management companies. Reduced supply can strengthen seller negotiating positions and make finding aircraft that satisfy specific age, maintenance, cabin and connectivity requirements considerably more difficult.

The trend also provides a useful signal about demand at the top of the pre-owned market. Strong transaction activity combined with shrinking inventory suggests buyers continue competing for desirable long-range aircraft even as new Gulfstream, Bombardier and Dassault products enter service. For prospective buyers, increasingly opaque pricing may also make experienced market intelligence and technical due diligence more important during negotiations.
