Business Jet Deliveries Rise 11% in First Half of 2026 as GAMA Reports Broad Growth Across Business Aviation
Business jet manufacturers delivered 386 aircraft worldwide during the first half of 2026, an 11% increase year over year, according to the latest General Aviation Manufacturers Association data. Turboprop and rotorcraft shipments also increased, leaving piston airplanes as the only major aircraft category to record a decline.

The results provide one of the clearest indicators yet that demand and production momentum remain strong across business aviation. Pilatus was a standout in the turboprop segment, delivering 43 PC-12s through June, up 72% from the comparable period last year. Higher deliveries are particularly significant as OEMs continue working through large backlogs while managing supplier constraints and growing demand for newer, more efficient aircraft. For operators, FBOs, MROs and training providers, an expanding active fleet also creates downstream demand for maintenance, pilots, hangar capacity and support services.
