Honda Aircraft-Backed Arulean Air and Thrive Aviation Launch HondaJet and Challenger 3500 Fractional Program
Honda Aircraft subsidiary Arulean Air has partnered with Thrive Aviation to enter the fractional aircraft ownership market, launching a program built around the HondaJet HA-420 and Bombardier Challenger 3500. The program’s first fractional aircraft is a Challenger 3500, with the partnership bringing an aircraft manufacturer-backed organization into a rapidly expanding private aviation ownership segment.

The two aircraft give the program distinctly different mission capabilities: the HondaJet targets efficient light-jet trips, while the Challenger 3500 provides substantially greater cabin space, payload and range. For Thrive Aviation, the arrangement creates another avenue for fleet and customer growth beyond traditional charter and aircraft management. For Honda Aircraft, backing a fractional platform could also expose more private flyers to the HondaJet without requiring whole-aircraft ownership.
