Sky Travel Plans 12 Hawker 400XP Private Jet Fleet and Launches New Jet Card Program
U.S. private aviation company Sky Travel is targeting a 12-aircraft Hawker 400XP charter fleet by the end of 2027, while simultaneously launching a new jet card program as it builds its presence in the private jet market.

Sky Travel plans to operate six Hawker 400XPs by the end of 2026, followed by another six aircraft during 2027. The company expects 11 of the planned 12 jets to be operational by early 2027. Its Part 135 certificate currently includes one Hawker 400XP.

The operator has also introduced Sky Travel Club, a jet card product that will initially use third-party operators while Sky Travel develops its own fleet. As additional Hawkers enter service, the company intends to operate an increasing proportion of customer flights internally.

Sky Travel is led by Brazilian businessman Pedro Bizzotto and Kevin Wargo, the former CEO of Fly Alliance.

Building a fleet around a single aircraft type can provide operating advantages through standardized pilot training, maintenance, parts inventories and aircraft scheduling.

The expansion also illustrates continuing investment in the U.S. light-jet charter market, where operators are combining owned or managed aircraft with jet cards and supplemental third-party lift to provide customers with broader availability.
