AB Jets Takes Delivery of Third Bombardier Challenger 3500, Completing Three-Aircraft Fleet Expansion
AB Jets has taken delivery of its third new Bombardier Challenger 3500, completing the three-aircraft order the U.S. business jet operator announced at NBAA-BACE in 2023 and marking another significant step in its fleet modernization program.

The final Challenger 3500 completes what AB Jets described as its three-aircraft “hat trick.” Founder and president Andrew Bettis said the aircraft represent the next generation of the company’s fleet as AB Jets expands while maintaining its established operating model.

The Bombardier Challenger 3500 has become a major competitor in the super-midsize business jet segment, combining transcontinental range with a large cabin designed for both corporate and private aviation missions.

AB Jets also plans to equip the newly delivered aircraft with Starlink high-speed inflight Wi-Fi, reflecting growing passenger expectations for reliable connectivity aboard private aircraft. The operator provides complimentary onboard connectivity as part of its charter service.

Completing the three-aircraft order gives AB Jets additional modern capacity while reducing reliance on older aircraft as competition intensifies across the U.S. charter and aircraft management market.

The delivery also adds another Challenger 3500 to a growing worldwide fleet as Bombardier continues converting its substantial business jet backlog into customer aircraft.
