StandardAero Expands Van Nuys Business Jet MRO Capabilities to Bombardier Global Aircraft
StandardAero has expanded its Van Nuys, California, business aviation maintenance operation to support Bombardier Global-series aircraft, adding new capabilities alongside its established Gulfstream services at one of the busiest private aviation airports in the United States.

The expansion, announced August 20, brings maintenance support for the Bombardier Global 5000, Global 6000 and Global 7500 families to StandardAero’s Van Nuys facility. The location has historically focused heavily on Gulfstream aircraft, making the addition an important broadening of its large-cabin and ultra-long-range business jet maintenance portfolio.

Van Nuys Airport is a major hub for corporate and private aviation in Southern California, with significant concentrations of Gulfstream, Bombardier and other large-cabin aircraft.

Adding Global-series maintenance capability allows StandardAero to support more operators locally while reducing the need for owners to reposition aircraft to other maintenance centers.

The move also reflects continued investment across the business aviation MRO market, where providers are expanding aircraft authorizations and technical expertise as newer large-cabin jets enter service and existing fleets accumulate additional flight hours.

For Bombardier Global operators based on the U.S. West Coast, the expansion adds another maintenance option in a strategically important business aviation market.
