Eclipse 500 Parts Supplier Resurgent Aviation Solutions Begins Liquidation as August Closure Approaches
Resurgent Aviation Solutions has begun liquidating its remaining inventory of Eclipse 500 aircraft parts and manufacturing assets ahead of the company’s planned closure on August 31, 2026.

The liquidation auction was launched on August 14 and reported on August 17, 2026, covering remaining components, tooling and other assets associated with supporting the Eclipse very light jet fleet.

Approximately 260 Eclipse 500 aircraft were manufactured, and many continue to operate, making the availability of replacement components an important consideration for owners, maintenance providers and operators supporting the type.

The Eclipse program became one of the highest-profile projects of the early very light jet era, promising to dramatically lower the cost of jet ownership and on-demand air travel. While the original manufacturer ultimately entered bankruptcy, the aircraft developed a dedicated owner and operator community.

Closure of a specialist supplier can create challenges for legacy aircraft fleets because shrinking parts availability can increase maintenance costs and aircraft downtime.

For Eclipse operators, the Resurgent Aviation Solutions liquidation could therefore have implications extending beyond the auction itself as owners and maintenance organizations assess future component supply and long-term support options for the remaining fleet.
