Aircraft Broker Program has released a new 350-plus-page textbook focused specifically on private aviation charter brokerage, expanding formal training resources for professionals entering the business aviation charter market.

Released August 17, The World of Private Aviation – The Charter Broker Edition covers private aviation terminology, charter brokerage concepts and industry practices, supported by illustrations, quizzes and reference material. Aircraft Broker Program describes it as the first dedicated textbook specifically focused on the private aviation charter broker role, although that characterization is based on the organization’s own research.

The textbook was developed alongside ABP’s online certification curriculum and is initially available to students enrolled in its training programs. The organization plans to make the publication available as a standalone resource later in 2026.

The launch comes as the private jet charter industry continues to professionalize areas including broker education, operator due diligence, sales, customer service and regulatory awareness.

Unlike pilots and maintenance technicians, charter brokers have historically had fewer standardized educational pathways. Dedicated training resources could therefore become increasingly relevant as charter transactions grow more complex and customers demand greater transparency when selecting aircraft and operators.
