DC Aviation Al-Futtaim Expands Dubai MRO Capabilities With San Marino Approval

DC Aviation Al-Futtaim has received standalone CAR-145 approval from the San Marino Civil Aviation Authority, expanding the maintenance capabilities of its facility at Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai South.

The approval allows DCAF to provide both line and base maintenance for San Marino T7-registered private and commercially operated aircraft, including aircraft managed by the company as well as those operated by third parties. The certification process was completed in less than three months, strengthening DCAF’s position as an independent maintenance provider for business aviation operators across the Middle East.

Its approved base maintenance scope covers several major business aircraft families, including the Bombardier Global Express, Global 7500/8000, Challenger 604/605/650, Gulfstream G650 and Embraer Legacy 600/650. Line maintenance support also extends to selected Boeing Business Jets and Dassault Falcon aircraft.

For operators using the increasingly popular San Marino registry, the approval provides another maintenance option in a strategically important region connecting Europe, Asia and Africa. It also strengthens DCAF’s ability to provide AOG support for T7-registered aircraft operating throughout the region.

The development reflects a wider trend across business aviation MRO, where international regulatory approvals are becoming increasingly important as operators seek greater flexibility in where aircraft can be maintained.
