Navair Adds Pilatus PC-24 to Australian Charter Fleet Following CASA Approval
Australia’s Navair has received Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) approval to operate no a newly delivered Pilatus PC-24 for charter, marking a significant expansion of its private aviation services.

The 2026-built aircraft, registered VH-DMS and based at Cessnock Airport, is currently the only PC-24 available for charter in New South Wales . Known as the “Super Versatile Jet,” the Swiss-built aircraft combines light jet speed with the ability to operate from shorter runways, opening access to regional and remote destinations across Australia.

“The PC-24 is one of the most exciting aircraft to enter the Australian charter market in recent years because it fundamentally changes where and how business jets can operate,” said Rick Pegus, CEO of Navair.

The aircraft’s capability enables more direct flights between major cities and regional destinations, such as Sydney to Darwin or Adelaide to Perth in one journey, reducing the need for refuelling stops . With CASA type acceptance already in place, the aircraft has officially entered service for corporate and private charter customers.
