Daher delivers Brazil’s first TBM 980
Daher Aircraft has delivered the first TBM 980 to a customer in Brazil, marking the introduction of its latest-generation high-performance turboprop into one of Latin America’s largest business aviation markets. The delivery comes just one year after Daher established Daher Aircraft Brasil in São Paulo, reinforcing the manufacturer’s long-term commitment to expanding its presence in the region.

The TBM 980 is the newest member of the TBM family, combining the proven Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6E-66XT engine with Garmin’s advanced G3000 PRIME flight deck. The aircraft delivers jet-like cruise speeds while offering the efficiency, flexibility and lower operating costs that have made the TBM one of the world’s most successful single-engine turboprops. Enhanced cabin comfort, improved connectivity and advanced automation further strengthen its appeal for owner-pilots and corporate operators.

Brazil represents a strategically important market for Daher, with its vast geography creating strong demand for aircraft capable of connecting remote destinations quickly and efficiently. The TBM 980’s ability to operate from shorter runways while maintaining impressive speed and range makes it well suited to both business and private aviation across the country.

The milestone reflects Daher’s continued global expansion and growing customer confidence in the latest evolution of the TBM family as demand for high-performance turboprops continues to rise.
