AvAir Expands MRO Capabilities with Full Stop Technics Acquisition
AvAir has strengthened its position in the global aviation aftermarket with the acquisition of Full Stop Technics, a U.S.-based FAA- and EASA-certified maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider specialising in aircraft wheel and brake services. The move marks a significant expansion of AvAir’s capabilities, allowing the company to combine one of the industry’s largest aircraft parts inventories with certified in-house repair services.

Full Stop Technics brings nearly four decades of expertise in wheel and brake maintenance, supporting commercial airlines, cargo operators and business aviation customers. By integrating these capabilities into its existing platform, AvAir will be able to offer customers a more streamlined solution, from sourcing components to certified repair and overhaul, helping reduce turnaround times and minimise aircraft downtime.

The acquisition builds on AvAir’s recent growth strategy, which has included expanding its inventory with more than 1,600 wheel and brake assemblies from Lufthansa Technik and opening a third facility near Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Together, these investments reinforce the company’s commitment to providing faster, more comprehensive aftermarket support for operators worldwide.

As demand for integrated aftermarket services continues to grow, AvAir’s latest acquisition strengthens its ability to support airlines, OEMs, MRO providers and business aviation operators with a broader range of parts and certified maintenance solutions.
