Beechcraft Denali Entry Into Service Delayed Until 2027
Textron Aviation has confirmed that the Beechcraft Denali’s entry into service has slipped to early 2027 as the aircraft progresses through the final stages of its certification programme. The company now expects to complete flight testing by October 2026, with FAA certification to follow before customer deliveries begin next year. (beechcraft.txtav.com)

The delay follows the lengthy development and certification of the GE Catalyst engine, which has already pushed the programme beyond its original timeline. Despite the revised schedule, Textron says the Denali continues to perform well throughout flight testing and remains on track to enter the competitive single engine turboprop market with advanced technology and strong operating economics. Designed to compete with aircraft such as the Pilatus PC-12, the Denali will feature Garmin Autoland, a spacious flat floor cabin, a large cargo door and seating for up to 11 occupants. Textron believes the aircraft will offer a compelling combination of performance, comfort and lower operating costs for corporate, charter and special mission operators. (beechcraft.txtav.com)
