EASA Revises Third-Country Operator Rules
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has published the July 2026 revision of its Easy Access Rules for Third Country Operators (TCO), updating the regulatory framework for non-EU commercial air operators conducting flights into, within or out of European Union member states. The revised publication consolidates the latest regulations, Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMC), Guidance Material (GM) and administrative procedures into a single, easy-to-navigate reference for operators and regulators.

The updated rules are designed to improve regulatory clarity and accessibility while helping third-country operators maintain compliance with EASA’s safety standards. The enhanced online version also introduces improved navigation, search functionality and machine-readable XML formats, making it easier for operators, flight departments and compliance teams to access the latest requirements.

For business aviation operators flying to Europe, staying current with the revised TCO guidance is essential to ensuring continued authorisation, regulatory compliance and efficient international operations. The update reinforces EASA’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high safety standards while simplifying access to regulatory information for the global aviation community.
