China Restructures Aviation Fuel Supply to Support Industry Growth
China is restructuring its aviation fuel supply network as part of a broader effort to improve efficiency, strengthen energy security and support the continued growth of the country’s aviation sector.

The initiative is expected to streamline fuel distribution, optimise supply chains and enhance coordination between airports, fuel suppliers and airlines. For business aviation operators, a more integrated fuel network could improve fuel availability, reduce operational bottlenecks and support more efficient flight planning across China’s expanding airport system.

The move comes as China continues to invest heavily in aviation infrastructure, with increasing demand for both commercial and business aviation driving the need for more resilient fuel logistics. A modernised supply network is also expected to support the adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) as the country works towards its long-term environmental objectives.

The restructuring reflects China’s ongoing commitment to building a more efficient and future-ready aviation ecosystem, supporting continued growth in one of the world’s largest and fastest-evolving aviation markets.
