Used Business Jet and Turboprop Inventories Continue to Decline
The pre-owned business aircraft market continues to tighten, with the latest report from Sandhills Global showing that inventories of both used business jets and turboprops declined again during June.

According to the market analysis, used business jet inventory fell 0.15% compared with May and was down 19.21% year-over-year, highlighting the continued scarcity of quality aircraft available for sale. The turboprop market also remains constrained, with inventory declining for a seventh consecutive month and finishing June 13.67% lower than a year earlier.

The shrinking supply reflects continued demand for pre-owned aircraft as buyers seek quicker delivery times than those currently available for many new aircraft. Limited availability has helped support aircraft values while encouraging operators to retain existing fleets for longer.

For buyers and operators, the latest figures reinforce the importance of acting quickly when suitable aircraft become available. The trend also continues to benefit manufacturers, maintenance providers and refurbishment specialists as owners invest in upgrading existing aircraft rather than waiting for new deliveries.
