Duncan Aviation Expands Pratt & Whitney Engine Overhaul Capacity
Duncan Aviation has expanded its turbine engine overhaul capabilities with the addition of a 36,000-square-foot Designated Overhaul Facility at its Lincoln, Nebraska campus, increasing support for Pratt & Whitney Canada PW300 and PW500 series engines.

The expanded facility enhances Duncan Aviation’s ability to perform engine overhauls, inspections and repairs, helping operators reduce maintenance downtime and improve fleet availability. The PW300 and PW500 engine families power a wide range of popular business jets, making the investment particularly significant for the global business aviation community.

The expansion comes as demand for engine maintenance continues to grow, driven by increasing aircraft utilisation and an ageing fleet. By investing in additional capacity and specialised capabilities, Duncan Aviation is strengthening its position as one of the industry’s leading independent maintenance providers.

The project also supports the broader need for increased MRO capacity as business aviation operators seek faster turnaround times and reliable long-term engine support.
