Gulfstream Aerospace has announced that its Gulfstream G800 has established a new benchmark for business aviation after completing what the company says is the longest and fastest flight ever flown by a business jet.

The aircraft flew 8,303 nautical miles nonstop from Melbourne, Australia, to Moline, Illinois, at an average cruise speed of Mach 0.85, surpassing the previous record set by the Gulfstream G650 in 2019.
