Falcon 10X Completes Historic First Flight
Dassault Aviation has successfully completed the maiden flight of its flagship Dassault Falcon 10X, marking a major milestone in one of the most closely watched programmes in business aviation.

The aircraft took to the skies on 19 June, beginning a comprehensive flight-test campaign that will support certification and eventual entry into service. Powering the aircraft are the new Rolls-Royce Pearl 10X engines, which also achieved a significant milestone with their first flight on the platform.

Positioned at the top end of the ultra-long-range business jet market, the Falcon 10X is expected to offer one of the largest cabins in business aviation, advanced flight deck technology and exceptional long-range capability. The aircraft is designed to compete directly with other flagship models in the large-cabin segment.

The successful first flight represents years of development and moves the Falcon 10X programme into its next phase as Dassault works towards certification and customer deliveries.
