Falcon 10X Reaches Major Milestone as Pearl 10X Engines Power First Flight
Rolls-Royce has confirmed that its new Pearl 10X successfully powered the maiden flight of the Dassault Falcon 10X on 19 June, marking a significant milestone for one of business aviation’s most anticipated aircraft programmes.

The successful first flight validates a critical element of the Falcon 10X development programme and represents an important step towards certification and entry into service. Designed specifically for Dassault’s flagship aircraft, the Pearl 10X is the most powerful engine in the Pearl family and has been developed to deliver improved efficiency, performance and range.

The Falcon 10X is expected to compete at the top end of the ultra-long-range business jet market, offering a spacious cabin, advanced flight deck technology and intercontinental capability.

With the maiden flight now complete, attention turns to the aircraft’s flight-test programme as Dassault progresses towards certification and customer deliveries.
