Modern Aviation Launches Major Expansion at Fort Worth Meacham FBO

Modern Aviation has broken ground on a major expansion project at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport as demand across the Dallas–Fort Worth business aviation market continues growing.

The development will add approximately 87,000 square feet of additional hangar space, increasing the facility’s total hangar footprint to more than 250,000 square feet. The expansion is aimed at supporting rising aircraft traffic, increased basing demand and long term growth throughout one of the busiest business aviation regions in the United States.

Dallas–Fort Worth continues attracting strong corporate aviation activity due to its central location, business infrastructure and growing concentration of charter, management and maintenance operations.

The project reflects continued investment in FBO infrastructure as operators and service providers work to meet increasing demand for hangar availability and premium aviation support services.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection says eligible travelers can now use its Mobile Passport Control app at nearly 40 general aviation airports.
