NetJets Introduces First Flat-Floor Citation Ascend Jets Into Service

NetJets has placed the first three Cessna Citation Ascend aircraft into service, marking the beginning of a broader fleet transition away from older Citation XLS models.

One of the most notable upgrades in the Citation Ascend is its flat floor cabin design, eliminating the aisle well found in previous XLS aircraft and creating a more spacious and modern passenger environment. The redesign aligns with growing demand for improved cabin comfort and usability within the midsize segment.

NetJets plans to phase out its remaining Citation XLS fleet by the end of 2027 as newer aircraft enter service. The move reflects a wider industry trend toward fleet modernisation focused on passenger experience, operational efficiency and updated technology.

Bermuda–Boston Air Ambulance Missing Near Nantucket With Six Aboard
