Aircraft Performance Engineer

• AirX is a growing international Air Chartering company with a diverse global fleet.
• The company seeks an Aircraft Performance Engineer for its Operations Department in Malta.
• Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical expertise on Flight Ops performance engineering.
- Advising on aircraft performance, weight and balance, fuel conservation, and cost optimization.
- Managing Airbus performance tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Contributing to documentation and ensuring regular monitoring of regulated performance for Take-off, en-route, and Landing.
- Updating the airport database and designing engine-out procedures.
- Supporting the maintenance of electronic performance tools and performing analysis of non-normal procedures.
• Skills and requirements:
- High proficiency in English and experience in airline operations.
- Strong knowledge in aircraft performance and related fields; a bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, good communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
