- The VP of Employee Relations will lead employee relations for all staff, partnering with senior leaders and the EVPHR.
- Responsibilities include recruiting, performance management, HR investigations, and compliance.
• Core Responsibilities:
- Enforce a comprehensive employee relations framework.
- Collaborate with legal counsel on various employment-related cases.
- Manage and document all employee relations cases and investigations.
- Oversee employment law compliance across multiple states.
- Manage regulatory obligations and keep HR policies current.
- Promote organizational culture and build a recognition ecosystem.
- Develop feedback mechanisms between employees and leadership.
- Advise on progressive discipline processes and ensure documentation standards.
- Analyze disciplinary patterns to identify training needs.
- Develop and deliver training for managers around employee relations.
- Create a manager early-warning system for at-risk leaders.
- Maintain an ER metrics dashboard to track cases and analysis.
- Provide monthly summaries and conduct quarterly risk reviews.
• Qualifications Required:
- Over 10 years of HR experience, including 5 years focused on employee relations.
- Relevant bachelor's degree.
- Proven leadership in organizational growth and a strong ER lifecycle management.
• Preferred Attributes:
- Advanced HR certifications.
- Experience in aviation industry and multi-state HR.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory compliance frameworks.
