Praetor 600 Captain

• Solairus Aviation is hiring a Full-Time Praetor 600 Captain at KSJC airport.
• Candidates must exemplify excellence and teamwork within Solairus’ culture of safety, service, and integrity.
• Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe operation of the Praetor 600 aircraft.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and review maintenance status.
- Check weather and facilities for the flight route.
- Adhere to Solairus policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ensure passenger and crew safety.
- Complete trip paperwork accurately.
• Qualifications:
- Total flight time: 3000 hours; PIC: 1500 hours; MEL: 1500 hours; MEL PIC: 500 hours; Turbo Jet: 500 hours; Instrument: 250 hours.
- Type rating on Praetor 600 or similar required.
- First class medical certification necessary.
- Must be available on-call and complete annual ICAO training.
- Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KSJC or willing to relocate.
