CRJ 900 Aviation Maintenance Technician

• The Aviation Maintenance Technician position is based at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, focusing on the CRJ 900 aircraft.

• Responsibilities include being present for all aircraft departures and arrivals, conducting flight crew debriefs, and executing service checks and maintenance.

• Essential duties include managing scheduled inspections, leading AOG responses, and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.

• Maintenance control support is required when not on duty, involving coordination with technicians and accurate record-keeping.

• Candidates should have 5–10 years of experience as an FAA A&P technician, with 2 years on the CRJ series preferred.

• Knowledge of FAA regulations and the ability to interpret maintenance manuals is essential.

• A valid FAA A&P certificate and factory maintenance training on the CRJ-900 are preferred.

• This full-time exempt position requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights and weekends, with travel for AOG and heavy maintenance.
