Safety Specialist

•Role Overview: The Safety Specialist supports the Solairus Safety Management System (SMS) and safety programs by facilitating hazard identification, risk management, event investigation, and safety data analysis.

•Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and revise SMS-related manuals and policies.

- Support safety meetings and documentation.

- Track safety and hazard reports.

- Conduct preliminary assessments and support risk assessments.

- Assist in incident investigations and prepare reports.

- Support causal analysis and corrective action recommendations.

- Analyze safety-related data and identify trends.

- Prepare reports and monitor safety performance.

- Assist with audits and maintain safety documentation.

- Track audit findings and compliance status.

- Develop safety communications and training materials.

- Encourage employee participation in safety initiatives.

• Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field; 2 years of relevant experience.

- Knowledge of SMS principles and FAA regulations.

- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Working Conditions:
