Aircraft Maintenance Chief Inspector

• Key Responsibilities:

- Administering inspection systems and ensuring proper maintenance documentation.

- Serving as the primary liaison with FAA inspectors.

- Supervising inspections and ensuring conformity and airworthiness.

- Managing technical data and ensuring its availability and accuracy.

- Approving return-to-service articles and maintaining logbooks.

• Competencies Required: Strong FAA knowledge, detail-oriented, leadership skills, the ability to interpret technical manuals, organizational competence, and customer-focused skills.

• Work Environment: Involves exposure to aircraft movement areas, loud noise, and variable weather; requires physical capability to lift 75 pounds and perform various physical tasks.

• Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, 7-10 years of aviation maintenance experience, FAA A&P Certificate, previous inspection experience, familiarity with quality systems preferred.

•Additional Requirements: Ability to pass background checks and participate in a drug and alcohol testing program, valid driver's license.
