Global 6000 Captain

• Solairus Aviation is hiring a Full-Time Global 6000 Captain based at KSJC airport.

• Candidates must demonstrate excellence and teamwork while prioritizing safety, service, and integrity.

• Responsibilities include:

- Ensuring safe operation of the Global 6000 aircraft.

- Conducting pre-flight inspections and reviewing maintenance status.

- Checking weather and facilities along the route, including alternate airports.

- Following Solairus aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.

- Ensuring passenger, aircraft, and crew safety.

- Completing all trip paperwork accurately.

• Qualifications required:

- 3000 total flight hours, including 1500 as Pilot in Command (PIC) and 1500 in Multi-Engine Land (MEL).

- 500 hours in Turbo Jet and 250 hours of instrument flight time.

- Type rating on Global 6000 is preferred but not mandatory.

- First class medical certification required.

- Must be available on-call and complete annual ICAO International procedures training.

- Primary residence within a 5-hour drive from KSJC or willingness to relocate.

• Salary ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 based on various factors.
