Aviation Safety Program Manager

• ECS is hiring an Aviation Safety Program Manager (ASPM) for its Lakeland, FL office to support NOAA's Office of Marine and Aviation Operations.

• The ASPM will plan, implement, and coordinate the Aviation Safety Program, ensuring compliance with federal aviation regulations and fostering a culture of safety.

• Key responsibilities include managing aviation safety policies, chairing the NOAA Aviation Safety Board, conducting safety audits, and supporting accident prevention initiatives.

• Required skills include certification as a Federal Aviation Safety Officer, expertise in aviation safety management, and strong project management skills.

• Candidates should have experience with policy development, safety management systems, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Desired skills include experience in strategic planning, technical writing in aviation safety contexts, and familiarity with aviation data analysis.

• Salary range for the position is $95,000 - $140,000.
