Airport Security Screener

• Job Position: Transportation Security Officers / Airport Security Screeners

• Hourly Wage: $31.11 upon completion of training (annual salary of $64,500 or more)

• Location: San Francisco, CA at SFO International Airport

• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available

• Responsibilities:

- Ensure security and protection of air travelers, airports, and aircraft

- Use electronic detection equipment for baggage, cargo, and passenger screening

- Conduct pat-down searches and operate x-ray machines

• Qualifications:

- US Citizenship

- High School Diploma or G.E.D.

- Proficient in English; must be 18+ years old

- Pass background investigation, drug screening, and medical evaluation

- Obtain Secret Clearance and complete TSA’s two-week training

• Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and twisting

• Work Environment: Fast-paced and crowded at times
