Overview:

Solairus Aviation seeks an experienced G550 Captain to join its San Jose-based team. The ideal candidate is a safety-focused, professional aviator dedicated to exceptional service and operational excellence in private aviation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the Gulfstream G550 safely and efficiently
• Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections and weather checks
• Ensure compliance with FAA and Solairus procedures
• Maintain aircraft, passenger, and crew safety
• Complete all trip and operational documentation accurately

Minimum Requirements:

• Total Time: 3,000 hrs
• PIC: 1,500 hrs
• MEL: 1,500 hrs
• MEL PIC: 500 hrs
• Turbojet: 500 hrs
• Instrument: 250 hrs
• Type Rating: G550 or equivalent
• Medical: FAA First Class
• Residence: Within 5 hours of KSJC or willing to relocate
• Must complete annual ICAO International Procedures training
• On-call availability required

Compensation:

Based on experience, equipment type, and location — typically between $50,000 and $500,000 annually.
